SongBirds Fly Again @ Milton Theatre 31st July 2010 8pm

The successful collaboration of female singer songwriters from the Shoalhaven region will perform again at the Milton Theatre on Saturday 31 July.

Twelve performers from the Songbirds CD will take to the stage in Milton for a concert showcasing the originality and diversity of music in the region: the passion and youth of emerging singers; the soulfulness and depth of experienced artists; the joy and musicality of women working together.

The Songbirds project was the brainchild of sound engineer Ben Moore from 313 Studios in Nowra, who wanted to expose the original music that he knew was being produced in the region and help to create networks and opportunities for those artists.

The CD was launched at a hugely successful concert at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre in March, and now the artists have come together again to showcase their songs further south in Milton. The show starts at Milton Theatre at 8.00pm. Tickets are $27 and are available from Country Leather, Milton (Ph: 4455 3056) and Malibu Music, Ulladulla (Ph: 4455 5693).
