Sez Fenn

Sez Fenn uses singing and song writing as a way of retelling tales of her own experiences, often inventing quirky characters to tell the story. At 14 her dad taught her to play guitar and lyric writing soon followed. At 17 Sez bought a drum kit and spent the next ten years performing in various bands as a drummer and singer. In 2006 pop rock trio, ‘Tokyo Spares’, were formed with her brother and sister, Sez gave up the drums and took on role of lyricist and front woman. Sez has spent the last four years writing, performing and recording extensively with ‘Tokyo Spares’, with a full-length album due out later this year. In 2009 Sez drummed for UK act ‘Thai Chi Swayze’ on the Australian leg of their tour and is currently working on an electronic project ‘Claude in Helvetica’ with an EP due out later this year. ‘Songbirds’ is Sez’s first solo project and she is thrilled to see one of her solo songs out of her bedroom and onto a record!
