Music and guitar are a major influence in my life and have been ever since I heard bands like The Who (My name is Jack) and The Beatles (Baby your rich man) as a kid in primary school. Later my older brothers’ record collection, with everyone from Bread to Jimi Hendrix, would have me playing air guitar and planning
road trips to fame and fortune.

More recently after years of garage bands, supports and club/pub gigs playing covers a slow death set in. This would lead to more focus on more original acoustic content and honing song writing skills into the type of song you now hear through Songwaves recordings.

A new persona has risen out the ashes of mediocrity with an 8 track demo titled -Dusty Rhodes “Low down Dust” .This is the first semi-professional recording all original songs with more on the way.

The evolution of a musician can happen suddenly, but I’m in no hurry to flower, it’s just nice to be growing.
