Nadia Intihar
NADiA is a self-taught, bedroom musician who picked up her brother’s guitar at the age of 16, predominantly as a means of getting out of homework. Over the past 6 years she has added mandolin, harmonica and percussion to her repertoire, to produce a gritty, free-flowing folk/rock/surf sound. NADiA loves music’s ability to create and strengthen relationships, and hopes to continue gigging with her friends and brother Alex in the Shoalhaven.
NADiA draws inspiration from nature, the positivity and hope of people, and the funny little happenings of life. Songs are inspired by her coastal surroundings in Kiama, the mountain ranges of Jamberoo and Kangaroo Valley, and the relaxed, blissful energy that flows up and down the South Coast.
